Lancaster, PA, has one of the highest Amish populations in the USA. It was a short drive away from where was staying and, with the weather bring nice on Saturday, the family and I took a trip out there.It is incredible how the Amish and modern civilisations can co-habit peacefully despite the great differences in their respective cultures. There are even lanes for the Amish carriages on each side of the road.
These photographs were taken from within a moving vehicle so the quality is not always great.
