Washington DC Temple

Most peoples view of the Washington DC Temple is something akin to a ship rising out of the water as it is situated high on a hill, surrounded by beautiful blossom tress and woodlands. There have actually been car crashes on the motorway so the state government had signs put up warning drivers that the Mormon Temple was coming up. We arrived late in the afternoon and I had opportunity to take some photographs before we went in and after we came out. It was yet another amazing experience in the Temple, though it may be the last time I can go to a Temple on this visit. I am grateful to have been able to go to seven Temples on this extended trip and each on has been a special and memorable experience.
